An Inside Look At Billie Eilish MCM Fall Campaign!

An Inside Look At Billie Eilish MCM Fall Campaign!

The “Bad Guy” singer  appears in a series of shots by South African photographer Lea Colombo, mixing MCM accessories such as bucket hats and bum bags with slouchy tracksuits and oversize parkas. Making this the first campaign for the 17-year-old singer. Billie has been known for her angelic voice but also for her unique sense of style. It is to no surprise that she is now the front man to such a pivotal brand such as MCM.

“This is such a strong message at a time where uniformity is somehow on the rise. She’s a game-changer: Not only is she disruptive, but it also feels like she can’t be corrupted. It’s not a marketing trick: She is that person. She really stands out in the current music scene.” MCM global creative officer Dirk Schönberger told sources.

If there is one thing to take away from Billie Eilish it is to be unapologetically yourself. Her unisex sense of fashion, bad girl facade and her outstanding race to fame shows us that age is but a number and no dream is too big or unattainable. When asked about her involvement with the campaign she says “You don’t have to be a boy. You don’t have to be a girl. You don’t have to wear something specific to that title. You know, you can be anything at all.” She is definitely a huge role model to both young girls and boys and to us all in the fashion world. This new campaign features her as well as other young stars such as Childish Major, 27. MCM’s campaign features all these strengths and emphasizes a sense of otherness in a way that inspires forward-thinking and personal exploration.
