Dolce and Gabbana becomes the first fashion house to extend it’s size range up to a 22!

The Italian powerhouse is the first luxury fashion label to extend its range up to size 22, which is the equivalent of a size 54 in Italy, making it one of the most inclusive designer brands for women. Extending the sizes of women’s collections is a natural evolution for Dolce & Gabbana as well as other high fashion labels. A spokesperson for D&G states that the size extension reflects one of the brand’s key mission statements, that “women’s beauty is not a matter of clothing size”.

Most designers show their collections exclusively to sizes 6-8 models and the fact that D&G is changing the game and bringing forth a new found love for curves is revolutionary in the world of fashion, proving that beauty should not be defined by the size you wear. We are sure that this is just the beginning of an incredible movement for women. Bravo to Dolce & Gabbana! The collection is out now with no end date.
