04 Mar What happens when the glamorous filming and beautiful parties are over? We share it all at the JAWC Women in Leadership Panel at SXSW
The Junior Austin Woman’s Club is a group of women committed to a vision of sisterhood where personal, professional, intellectual and cultural growth is supported and encouraged. Since 1940, this organization has been empowering their members and seek to create positive change in their Austin community by serving others. In addition to this, they support preservation and fundraising efforts to keep their platform and home, Chateau Bellevue thriving.
They provide monthly on-site and off-site events for their members so that they can build relationships, create friendships, network and serve the community. These events include group volunteering, happy hours, brunches, Chateau special events and more. For those who want to get even more involved, they offer committees and other leadership opportunities as well.
On March 7th, join the Junior Austin Woman’s Club & P31 Experience for a SXSW kick off party and panel discussion. Learn from and network with high caliber women entrepreneurs who are making waves in the Texas community. These seasoned ladies will be sharing their experiences and expertise on what it takes to pursue your passion and how they have turned their passions into thriving businesses.

Style Lush TV and the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative 501C3 will also be there. As Senior Digital Fashion Editor of Style Lush TV Fashion News and President of the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative 501C3, I will be discussing what really happens during business hours when the glamorous filming and beautiful parties are over. We will share what it takes to continuously grow and offer insider information about the hectic schedules, overlapping duties, ways to time manage, growing an online presence organically, working with limited human resources, and strategizing a plan for success even when funding is not abundant. We are also incredibly excited to take any additional questions and be completely frank and honest with the info. Also, please allow us to offer any resources that we may have to help you launch to the next big step.
The event will be moderated by:
