San Antonio icon, Mr. Piñata , is back after ‘going missing’ last year. He is all set for Fiesta 2017 with a week-long public art performance of love, culture, and confetti.

Mr. Piñata was last seen on January 30, 2016 at the Gasparella Pirate Festival in Tampa, FL. Although the case of his disappearance is still under investigation, he currently has a more pressing issue at hand.

BANNER PATV 2016

As he strolls through Fiesta spreading good cheer with Ms. Piñata , he’ll have to watch out! In the darkest corners of Fiesta lurks Don Palo , a giant life size piñata stick. He’s on the hunt for Mr. Piñata and looking for a fiesta sized score of candy.

Be on the lookout for Don Palo as he searches for Mr. Piñata throughout various Fiesta events. From Alamo Heights Night to Fiesta de los Reyes at Market Square, to Fiesta Arts Fair, Piñatas in the Barrio, Fiesta Flambeau Parade , NIOSA, Battle of Flowers Parade and a final sighting at King William Fair. Help keep Mr. Piñata safe throughout Fiesta by helping him hide and sidetracking Don Palo if he gets too close.

In the ultimate showdown, will Don Palo catch up to Mr. Piñata? How will they reconcile the nature of their conflict? As Mr. Piñata says, love wins!
