Fall/Winter fashion is here! While we here in San Antonio, Texas are still trying to survive the intense heat, deep down, we are gearing up for a fabulous Fall/Winter closet. It seems that the passing of two music icons this year is still having an impact on fashion and personal style around the world. Both David Bowie and Prince are strongly felt on the runway. Traditional fall trends, such as Velvet, are always welcomed and in an unexpected twist, women are currently going after mens trainers? Just look at this image to see why.

In yet another jaw dropper, we went wild for the flowy-slit-pants. Just look at this incredible pair.

10. GOLD

Music icons keep disco fever alive. Gold always has luxe appeal and in my opinion, ultimate edge and rebellious nature.

9. The Platform Heel

It’s baaack! chunky platforms are steaming up the runways. Think ankle straps and open toe to name a few styles. Disco is truly back this Fall/Winter.

8. Chokers

Still gong strong, chokers are this summer’s ubiquitous accessory. While 90’s “Melrose Place” inspired styles are still fun, going after more luxe materials, like metals, stones and metallics are pushing the trend forward.

7. Berry Color Palettes

Also, making a comeback, mixing your berry tones is trending. A fun and easy trend to play with, try mixing mulberrys, reds, plums, strawberries, and any other tone from the red/berry family. You will love how it instantly takes your outfit to the next level.

6. “Drape like a Cape”

Again, we see the “Drape like a Cape” trend elevating the luxe attitude of an outfit. Great thing about this trend is that it doesn’t cost a dime. Take an old jacket from your closet and try this next time you go out.

5. Textured Booties

Whether its lace or brocade, textured booties were making a statement. Just when you thought the outfit couldn’t get any better, just take a glance south of the knees and get blown away yet again.

4. Fall Florals

This is yet another trend making a comeback. In seasons past it was refered to as Midnight Gardens on the Trend Forecast boards, now, we see it bringing a new twist by offering less gothic shades and more “fall brights”. Saturated pumpkins, cinnamons and mustards excite!

3. The Statement Bomber

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I have a weakness for jackets. This season, bombers are coming in statment making textures and prints. The more bold, the better.

2. Velvet

Always a welcome trend in the fall, sensual velvets warmed up the runway. A notable style to include with velvets is unique cut out backs. Come this fall, when the weather is just right, we will be dying to try this combo.

and Top Trend 1. Dramatic Sunnies

From oversized round frames to this black rhinestoned rectangular style, Dramatic Sunnies seem to be the ultimate way to up the ante. This Fall/Winter, if you can only invest in one luxe trend, we suggest this be it.
