“What Would Lori Wear”
By: Lori Lopez

Hi fashion lovers and fashion bloggers! My name is Lori Lopez and I was born and raised here in San Antonio, Texas. I started my fashion Instagram a little over a month ago. All my friends and co-workers were always requesting fashion advice and asking if I could style their outfits for dates, photoshoots, and going out with friends! I finally decided to take the chance and show the fashionistas on Instagram what I was about.

My fashion inspiration on Instagram are @heyitsannabanana, @kimberlyx3you, @ninzeey, and @kimkardashian. Mine is more of a lookbook of outfits I’ve pt together. I have never written an actual blog post until now, but I hope to continue with it seeing as I have always been a lover of fashion. Before I got my first job at Charlotte Russe, I hadn’t really found myself or knew exactly what my style was. After working there for a little less than two years I can honestly say I really found myself and know exactly how I want to present myself to people.

Working in the retail business, I’ve noticed that trends and fashion are constantly changing and thats what I truly love about it. On my outfit of the day Instagram you will notice that I don’t always dress the same everyday, I like to switch things up and change my looks day in and day out. I think fashion is all about having fun and finding styles and trends that work for you individually.

Today I will be showing you how to put together an outfit to go out in the night with your friends. Being a college student, I know that at this age many of us fashionistas are on a budget and going shopping adds to the many things we have to pay for. I believe that as long as you have confidence in yourself, your outfit won’t have to be all the name brands the celebrities are wearing (although that would be nice!)

The outfit I came up with is something that will work for every fashionista. Being as it is winter, vests and fall colors are in right now. I’m loving navys, maroons, and browns. I went shopping this past weekend because pretty much all stores are having their semi-annual sales so it was a perfect time to find very cute but affordable clothes! I am a huge dress lover so I went with a body-con maroon dress from Love Culture , I paired it with the “Hit the Trails Vest” from a boutique Hazel and Olive based out of Rockwall, Texas.
I love love love Kendra Scott jewelry so I decided to throw on my Danielle earrings in neon yellow with the matching Rayne necklace and lastly added my Charlotte Russe black wedge booties to complete the look!

Now this is just my style and what works for me, I know not everyone’s taste is the same. But that’s what fashion is all about. You can also pair the dress with a blazer, cardigan, or leather jacket and of course you can either wear wedges or pumps to complete the look! If you are into hats you could also pair this outfit with a floppy hat like I did in the image above! I would love to see how my look has inspired you! Comment on this post below and Hashtag #wwlw so I can see your twist on my outfit!
