The buzz is all around! So many fashion community will be showcasing at Southtown The Art District’s Second Saturday Artwalk, tomorrow, August 11th and we have the full details right here on Style Lush TV.

First up, Freight Gallery & Studios will be hosting their first Second Saturday panel discussion, The Art of Running a Small Business.

Moderated by Katie Pruett, editor-in-chief of Ethical Style Journal, attendees will hear from local small business owners on what it takes to make it work. Join Gilbert Glaster of Unique Knits, Sergio Martinez of Freight Gallery & Studios, Natalie Medina of Grey Moon Vintage, and Christian Reed-Ogba of BethanyEast PR & Management Consulting for an evening of community and compelling conversation.

Freight Gallery & Studios is located at 1913 South Flores. The panel discussion is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the opening of the gallery’s latest exhibit, Sneakerhead: The Art Of Kicks

Up next, cross the street to 1906 S. Flores and visit Style Lush Studios for “The Artistry of Jewelry“.  This month we are featuring Lirica and Sandy’s Signature as we explore the beauty of jewelry making and why this vertical of fashion is an art form. Come out and meet the artists, discuss the craftsmanship behind the brands and purchase one of a kind jewelry from these local artisans. Details available here in the Facebook event page.
