It’s an extra beautiful time in the city, Fiesta has officially arrived in San Antonio, TX! The city’s coming days are packed full of events and a Style Lush’s must attend event is, Pop Up! Fiesta in the Galleries. This one of a kind exhibit is filled with not only Alamo Coronation gowns, designs and sketches but also outfits worn by El Rey Feo, Charro Queen, and the Lord High Chamberlain. Today we stopped in and got a sneak peak!
The stunningly beautiful and intricate robes and gowns are placed strategically throughout the museum as pop ups and relate to the theme of the exhibit around them. Along with the pop ups dating back to the early 1900s is the tricentennial exhibition: 300 Years of San Antonio History: Confluence and Culture.
Supported by the Fiesta San Antonio Commission and the City of San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture this $12 admission ticket is worth the cost. Find this exhibit and much more at The Witte Museum 3801 Broadway Street, San Antonio, TX 78209. Stay tuned to Style Lush TV for more coverage on the San Antonio fashion scene.
