It’s almost here! We are officially 4 weeks away from the San Antonio Fashion Awards and all we can talk about is what we’ll be wearing to San Antonio’s most glamorous night of the year, to celebrate the city’s Fashion Community. With finding the perfect dress or tux, also comes the dreaded thought: “I need to tone up!” Although, we are huge advocates of loving yourself in your own skin in any size, we do promote a healthy lifestyle. Hope Cowgill-Pedraza, fitness instructor and health coach extraordinaire, operates Inbalance San Antonio, a fitness studio that provides a variety of classes for all ages. From, Barre to Yoga, to Dance Cardio and even TRX, the classes are fun, with a level of intensity you need to obtain your optimum results. Many people get intimidated with group classes, but no fear! At Inbalance the instructors include moves for every level and if group settings aren’t your thing, Hope also provides private sessions at the studio.
We teamed up with Inbalance for a mini-series to demonstrate key moves to highlight your best attributes in your Red Carpet looks. For our first episode, we focused on Upper Body. The moves in the video above can be done at home. All you need is a set of light weights and a band for these moves. So, if your Red Carpet look for the San Antonio Fashion Awards has you showing off your arms, then try these moves out for yourself so you can pull off your best Halle Berry look this October 12th!
