The AM Project and Pärdē have combined resources to bring an exciting and unique urban art event to our community. BLK Art gives artists the opportunity to showcase and sell their work in different areas around town, while supporting a local non profit. Today was the very first BLK Art event and despite the intense heat, many flowed in and out of the party from 11am-3pm to support and check out the local talent.

The inaugural event took place at the home of The AM Project / Blonde Creative at 2500 McCullough and featured participating Street Art Muralists Nik Soupe of Los Otros, Holden William Dunlop, Paul Garson “The Protean Effect”, Cesar Garcia “Relek”, Justin French “French”, Custom San Antonio and Hektor Perez “Mersk”.

The artists completed their large scale (4’x8′) work and made them available for purchase with a portion of proceeds going to The AM Project (501c non profit). Along with experiencing live painting, there were local vendors, refreshments and music by some of the hottest local DJs.
The murals are now on display at The AM Project and available for purchase online at theamproject.org. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. They are now accepting applications from artists interested in participating in the next BLK Art coming this summer.
