BANNER PATV 2016

You’ve seen the woman behind the concept of Kaleidoscope Shows, on our #TrendTalk Channel, now see the Magnum Opus Couture Exhibit in our latest #StreetBeat episode. Designers from San Antonio and Austin created one of a kind looks for the evening and each design was creatively executed with the ‘magnum opus’ concept in mind.

It was a chilly night filled with dance music tunes and a live model exhibit featuring the works of six designers. Dorcol Distillery was the place to be on Friday night and we were happy to support Savannah and her team. When a young creative has a vision and can bring that vision to life, the support is what drives them to do it again and again and again. We’re looking forward to the next one!

Featured in the episode above are works from designers Savannah Lace, creator behind the Kaleidoscope Shows Production. Her black and red elegant ensemble with polka dot and flower detail on some evening wear gloves was tasteful and chic. That choker is amazing too!

Designer Nabil Gomez created a mixed medium of sheer fabric with the cutest detail ever! Inspired by Salvador Dalí and Elsa Schiaparelli, @dolllabil brought the heat with this creation. Her designs were featured in the World Peace Fashion Show during Runway En La Calle and this look she showcased for Magnum Opus is a unique blend of her skills and talent.

Another crowd pleaser was this amazing red on black, gothic caged dress by Designer Jasmine Lea, @strangethydress

It’s elegant, edgy, sophisticated and overall badass in one piece. I would rock this look for a really mysterious photoshoot or heck…for fun just walking around in it. The shoes that she paired with it were phenomenal all on their own. An ode to the 1860s’ cage skirt mixed with gothic styles of the modern times, I was totally blown away by this design!

Local San Antonio Designer, Shanice White displayed an elegant gown with blue and white textured detail. It looks like strings of lightning skewing across the dress she created. If she was going for that look or vibe, I’d say she hit it spot on!

There was a duo displayed that caught my eye because anything clear and shiny, I’m all about it. These designs were created by Kossla Veasna and Kimberly Howard. They teamed up to create futuristic styles that convey modern edginess with classic staples.

Silver and ‘see through’ fashion mixed together, you can’t go wrong with that. Their makeup was on point too! Pops of red to add some color to a more neutral tones.

Here at Style Lush TV, we hope to see MORE from these talented designers. We definitely see the potential in their skills and wish them the very best in their future endeavors.
